Antidiabetic and Antioxidant Potential of GancidinW from Streptomyces Paradoxus VITALK03

چکیده

Materials and Methods: Antidiabetic potential of GW was evaluated by assay of α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory activity; haemoglobin glycosylation and yeast glucose uptake. The antioxidant potential of GW was assessed by 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay, 2,2′azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) radical cation decolorization assay and superoxide assay. The inhibition of α-amylase and α-glucosidase by GW was also studied by in Silico molecular docking analysis.
